I feel like this news story provides a good context to the story it is trying to tell. The reporter provides a large amount of hyperlinks and outside sources. Plus with myself being in the national guard I feel like this story really connects with my on a personal level.
For this news story I decided against the more mainstream media and decided to see how a third party reports its stories. This article was about a social experiment about gun control. This site is also a mostly comical news source so it is easier for them to connect with their audience on a more personal level. The article had little writing and was mostly a video but it did have an extensive array of sources to back up their claims in the video.
For this entry I decided to look at the oppisite end of the political spectrum with HuffPo. This article was about how Americans feel about safety in the country. I did see an integrated pool within the story as well as a few pictures and some hyperlinks but I did not see very many sources cited in the article though it made many claims.
