Morality on YouTube

On YouTube there is a Youtuber by the name of Keemstar. On his channel Drama Alert he promotes so-called “Youtube drama” as his main source of content. He find other people on the internet, mainly fellow Youtubers and takes their drama and presents it to the public in a very tabloid way.

He is a very popular channel with more than a million subscribers and has quite of bit staying power in the YouTube community. He uses clips from other channels and all this is protected under fair use as criticism/reviews.

I would call into question his morality in this but all his actions are legal. So it really goes to show that even if you do legal things they still can be immoral.

I'm currently a student at the University of North Texas who is majoring Converged Broadcast Media with a minor in Military science. I've had many experiences with live television whether it be news or sports broadcasting. I've been on a production that has won a broadcasting Emmy with North Texas Television Nightly News and am lead editor on an ntTV entertainment show.
